Each new job gets a match score against your profile, with the must-haves you meet and your gaps, so the best fits sit at the top of Discover.
You hear about strong matches
Strong matches show up in Discover and your Monday recap. On Pro, we email you the moment one appears.
Ranked against you, not the whole internet
A normal job alert sends you everything with a keyword in it. Applause only follows the pages you choose, and it never scrapes the open web. Then it ranks each new posting against your profile and shows why: the must-haves you meet, the gaps, and the years you have against the years they ask for.
So you know whether a job is worth your time before you spend an hour on it. When one is, tailor your résumé to it in a click and track it from Saved to Hired.

Questions
Which careers pages can I follow?
Any company on Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Workable or SmartRecruiters, any RSS or Atom job feed, and most company careers pages. We read the page the company publishes itself.
Can I follow LinkedIn, Indeed or Glassdoor?
No. Those listings can’t be followed. You can still paste a single job from them into Applause and tailor your résumé for it.
How many companies can I follow for free?
3 careers pages on the free plan, checked once a day. Pro follows up to 30, checked every 6 hours.
How do you decide what’s a strong match?
We compare each posting with your profile: the must-haves you meet, the tools and domain you know, your level and your years. You see the score and why it scored that way. Filter by title, location and work setting to cut the noise.
Will I get spammed?
No. Free accounts get matches in Discover and one weekly recap on Monday. Pro adds an email when a strong match appears. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and you can switch each one off in Settings.
